Contest Rules

1. Sponsor:

Conair Corporation, 1 Cummings Point Road, Stamford, CT 06902.

2. Content Restrictions:

The Submission may not contain or mention brand names or trademarks except for those names, marks or logos owned or licensed by Conair Corporation;

The Submission must not contain material that is deemed to be inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;

The Submission must not contain material that is deemed to promote bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.

3. Judging

Picking the Finalists: Conair will select the five best videos, which will be posted at on Monday, September 20, 2010.

Picking the Winner: Visitors to will vote for their favorite video during the voting period, which runs Monday, September 20, through Friday morning, October 1, 2010. The video with the most votes will be the winner.

4. Winner Requirements:

Conair will notify the potential Grand Prize winner by email or phone. The potential Grand Prize winner must be over the age of eighteen, and will be required to sign and return to Conair, within ten (10) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release ("Affidavit") in order to claim his/her prize. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the Affidavit within the required time period, he/she forfeits the prize. Each potential winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Conair will award the applicable prize to the second-place eligible entrant.

5. Release:

By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Conair and its subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

6. Publicity:

Except where prohibited, participation in the Video Contest constitutes winner's consent to Conair's use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

7. Limitations of Liability:

Conair is not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Video Contest; (b) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Video Contest; (d) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Video Contest or the processing of entries; or (e) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Video Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Video Contest, if timing permits.

8. Disputes:

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Video Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate Connecticut State Court located in Fairfield County, Connecticut; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Video Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Video Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Connecticut without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Connecticut or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Connecticut.
